We’re Katie and Phil, a devoted couple running a small and friendly pet boarding service from our home in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
We started Keston's Lodge because we know from personal experience how hard it can be to leave your much-loved friends while you're away.
We're experienced, DBS checked, and ready to welcome your smallest family members.
Ready to book? Keston's Lodge offers spacious hutches in a fully secure, brick-built annex at our home. Our hutches are cleaned daily and are suitable for up to two bunnies or up to three guinea pigs. For bigger groups or larger guests, our hutches extend to double-storey. We also cater for outdoor guests. Depending on the weather, guests have access to outdoor play space.
Treat
We treat every pet like family. From cosy, dust-free bedding to fresh vegetables, bundles of hay, and regular water changes, your furry friends will enjoy a stay full of comfort and care. Our accommodations are designed to keep them safe, happy, and well-nourished.
Play
Playtime is essential! Your pets will have access to toys, hiding huts, and plenty of space for exploration and fun. All outdoor play areas are kept clean and secure, and we ensure that each pet has a safe, private space where they can enjoy themselves without the stress of mingling with others.
Love
Love is at the heart of everything we do. We make regular checks to ensure your pets are eating, drinking, and staying healthy. Lots of cuddles and attention are happily included. You can rest easy knowing your little ones are treated with the utmost care, and surrounded by warmth and affection.

Please bring the exact payment in cash at drop-off. Drop-off slots are:
Monday-Friday: 8:30-9am, 12:30-1pm, and 5-5:30pm
Saturdays: 8:30-9am.

We are always here to reassure anxious customers so please drop us an email to arrange a viewing. We have pets, so we know how it feels and want to set minds at rest.
We have set times for collection to limit disruption to our little guests. These are Weekdays: 8:30-9am, 12:30-1pm, and 5-5:30pm. Saturdays: 8:30-9am.
Please respect these times as we are unable to accommodate drop-offs or collections out of these hours.
Please bring enough of their usual dry food to cover their stay. It's important to stick to their regular diet as switching foods could upset their tummies. Having something that smells like home will be soothing, so you're welcome to bring any comfort items such as toys, blankets, treats etc. If your pet is litter trained, please bring their litter tray, it will have their scent and help them settle in quicker.
For tiny pets (hamsters, gerbils, mice), please bring them in their own accommodation with all the things that go with it, and sufficient bedding for their stay.

We recommend that your rabbit is vaccinated against Myxomatosis and RVHD 1 & 2 to give you peace of mind.
[Optional] We strongly recommend spaying/ neutering rabbits as it helps calm hormonal behaviours such as spraying walls and floors, as well as mounting and aggression.

Your pets won't have direct contact with pets from other households. We don’t want to risk fighting or pregnancy! Depending on the weather, outdoor play takes place one pet/ one pair/ one group at a time on sanitised areas and is available upon request.
We are looking to offer this service in the future. However, ask when you book and we can see if we can accommodate.
